Genuine British Army Frontier1000 Communication System PRR – Radio – Milsim

Description

The Frontier1000 (RA5500/1020) is a single channel headset system designed to connect to the widely used AN/PRC-343 Personal Role Radio (PRR) – not included. Replaces the obsolete Clansman type elasticated headset. A selectable Talk Through (TT) function allows external sounds to be heard in the headset whilst PRR reception is heard in the left ear. The user’s voice is picked up from inside the right ear meaning a separate boom microphone (required for obsolete Clansman type headsets) is not required. TT audio is heard in both ears. Each set is supplied with a pair of Comply Canal Tip earpieces for a great fit and superior noise reduction. These sets have been battlefield tested in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
