History and Description
The Pakol Cap is a traditional Afghan / Pakistani headdress of woven wool (Sheep or Camel wool) from Nuristan / Chitral. Afghan refugees in Pakistan began after their expulsion from their homeland to wear this cap and so the Pakol soon became the symbol of resistance in Afghanistan.
First of Pakol was more worn by Pashtuns.
By Ahmad Shah Massoud but was increasingly becoming a symbol of the Northern Alliance.
Also worn by Special Forces World Wide.
