The least known of Double Eagle’s starter range, the M82P is a replica of the SIG552 Commando Rifle,
A compact variant of the Swiss SIG550 – a very popular weapon is a number of video games. Typically
SIG’s are not very common weapons in airsoft, as most people tend to favour one of the three most
produced types of gun, AK/M4/G36. This being said, there are a few high-end SIG weapons available
on the market so should you feel that this is the weapon platform that you would like to use, you do
have some options to move onto.
The M82P is a CQB styled weapon, without the mock silencer installed the overall profile of the weapon is
relatively short, couple this with the foldable stock and the potential for you to install the Foregrip, this
makes a great little gun for target practice at closer ranges, or for small scale backyard battles where you
might have a lot of cover to use. This is ideal if you think you may be looking to move into the more CQB
orientated role, or even if you just prefer the feel of smaller weapons (they are easier to move around with)
The build on this weapon is not all bad, and the folding stock is incredibly secure when clipped into place,
The hand guard is not too thin, meaning it does not flex when you grip it – like some cheaper weapons do.
the body itself is very secure and feels strong to the touch – perfect for younger players who might accidentally
“bump” the weapon while getting used to the size and feel.
Included in the package are a small set of free attachments so as you can see what you prefer on the weapon –
This is a great addition to a starter package as it allows you to come to terms with your own style of shooting,
some people prefer the use of Verti-Grips, while others do not – some prefer to mount a torch in place of
the grip and hold the back of this, etc. But by including these attachments, it means you can get used to your
own personal style and carry this over to your first skirmish weapon.
