The Frontier ITE (in-the-ear) headset (RA5500) combines clear, single or dual channel radio communications with hearing protection and situational awareness in a lightweight, compact yet rugged Soldier worn system.

Compatible with custom silicone ear moulds, foam ear plugs and 3 flange ear plugs it provides the user with significant protection against impulse weapon noise and light and medium vehicle noise.  It is also ideal for dismounted use.

Powered with 1.5V internal AAA  battery (not supplied) or from a range of radios.

The ITE headset and Frontier switchbox are lightweight, comfortable and integrate easily onto the soldier platform.

Field proven, the Frontier is environmentally and electrically hardened for use in military theatres of operation.
